Heading to Web Weekend Vancouver
Excited to be heading off to Vancouver as a speaker at Magazines Canada’s Web Weekend series for Canadian magazine professionals. This is my second year presenting in the series.
What it is
My talk, “Magazines2.0: The Sharing Revolution,” concerns existing and emergent issues related to the both the publisher and reader of web2.0 publications. I address current challenges to adoption along with must-have features, key metrics and low to no cost social media solutions for independent, scholarly and commercial publications.
Who its for
Designed to address the concerns of non (and n00b) geek publishing professionals new to the attitudes, behaviours and needs of the web2.0 ‘user-reader.’
